The show begins at 7:00pm; located at 3375 South Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102.

After learning about the untimely death of Stanley Gibson and the financial hardships of his widow Rondha Gibson, David’s compassion inspired him to raise money for her. For over four decades David’s soulful voice has earned him prestigious awards and sold out mega arenas. Now he will use his mesmerizing voice to help a grieving and struggling widow in need.

David’s highly anticipated new single, “The Roof Is On Fire” is accelerating up the radio charts without showing any signs of slowing down. Currently he is completing the music video for “The Roof Is On Fire” and plans to debut it nationwide on television very soon.

On June 12, 2012 Rondha Gibson held a vigil for her late husband at Boulder City’s Southern Nevada Veteran Cemetery. A small group of supporters were present and in attendance were Boulder City Mayor Roger Tobler, Boulder City Councilman Rod Woodbury, Justice of the Peace Victor Miller, Veterans In Politics members Steve Sanson and Karen Steelmon, Endeavor Media Group members Andre’ Haynes, Dave Robbins, and Joseph White.

Army Gulf War Veteran Stanley Gibson suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), cancer, incorrect prescription medication that led to mental confusion. Stanley Gibson was disregarded by the Veterans Administration when attempting to get his medication altered. Immediately after the December 12, 2011 shooting which resulted in Mr. Gibson’s death, Sheriff Gillespie reported to the public that Gibson was using his vehicle as a weapon to ram police cruisers and after 29 minutes of negotiations had failed, officers had to defend themselves and shot Gibson dead while he sat un-armed in his car. The weapon used was an AR-15, a military style rifle similar to an M-16 machine gun. After a video of the event was aired by the media, it became apparent that Gibson had been pinned by several unoccupied police cruisers, he was unarmed, alone, suffering from a panic attack, and his tires were spinning, indicating that he had nowhere to go. The officers on the scene decided to use a non-lethal method to apprehend Gibson, but Officer Jesus Arevalo disregarded the plan, and fired seven rounds to the rear of Mr. Gibson’s head with an AR-15, striking and killing Gibson instantly. It was then stated by several officers on the scene that Officer Arevelo was aware of the plan to take Gibson alive.

For the past six months, Officer Jesus Arevelo and three other police officers have been on paid administrative leave. Officer Arevelo earns over $78,000 annually. The high-profile shooting attracted public attention because it was captured on video and as a result Rondha Gibson is experiencing financial difficulties and her high profile status has prevented her from gaining employment.
